There are four skills you should learn that will help you to be comfortable in any situation according to Bear Grylls Adventure. These four skills are archery, solving escape rooms, solving mazes, and overcoming physical obstacles. Once you come to Bear Grylls Adventure Center in Birmingham you’ll be able to do all four of those skills in the boot camp section. That’s only the beginning, however.
Once you are finished with boot camp there are four additional activities you’ll take part in as part of the expedition. These include wall climbing, scuba diving, descending a high rope from a helicopter, and indoor skydiving. An all in one pass is also available that allows you to do all the activities in addition to the base camp for the maximum adventure.
The Algarve in Portugal is somewhere you can expect to encounter nothing that is more dangerous than Brits with a sunburn, but you will have a great chance to catch some really big fish which is exhilarating. There is the hammerhead shark as well as mako and blue along with swordfish and tuna swimming the depths of the waters. Once you have taken a picture with what you caught you’ll be required to let it go but you’ll have the memories and exhilaration of the experience that’ll stay with you all the way back to land and beyond. If you like the thought of spending your stag do in Portugal or neighbouring Spain, you should take a look at the Spain Event for more ideas and inspiration!
For golf lovers, the opportunity to stroll out on a fabulous green golf course with good friends is a great feeling and a perfect activity. Ireland has a spectacular course waiting almost everywhere you go. If everyone in the party plays golf then it’s a perfect activity for a stag. It is an activity that will suit your stag party well after a late night while also providing opportunities for good-natured joshing and rivalry.
This is definitely an activity for genteel groups so if you have mates that want to throw down pints instead, it might be best to stay away from the links. Almost anywhere on the map of Ireland has areas with a course somewhere nearby and a friendly atmosphere. If you’re near Dublin or Cork you’ll find that there are some exceptional options available that are close to the big city and among the best courses you can play on.
If you’re thinking of the Game of Thrones you’re on the right track. Well, at least somewhat, as it’s a 12-meter high wall of ice with ropes and an expert standing by to give you advice which is not quite as challenging as a 200m wall of ice with White Walkers attacking you while you attempt the climb. It’ll be a thrilling experience but ice climbing is not the most adrenaline field activity in the Scottish Highlands because you also have an aerial assault course to tackle. This 250M long course has tightrope walks, commando Nets, vine swings, and they are all 10m above the ground.
Because of the large range of activities on the coastal Cornish town of Newquay, it is considered one of the most adventurous stag spots in the UK. The area has an impressive nightlife scene. You can book a Cornwall Castaway Adventure at Newquay Activity Centre that will arrange for you to be shipwrecked off the coast. You will then need to make your way to dry land buy swimming and climbing as well as jumping off cliffs as part of the challenge.
Once you successfully navigate to Dead Man’s Cove you’ll be trained in survival skills and be given the chance to forage for food inside. After those activities, you’ll be able to return to regular civilization although it will require paddling back to shore. If you want to make a friend out of a volleyball as done in the movie, you’ll have to bring one yourself.
